This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, to provide services of locker repair. This effort is to seek out qualified sources capable of providing services required by the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). All interested parties are encouraged to respond.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415: Air Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing.

The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with these repairs are encouraged to respond to this notice by December 9, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. The following key information is requested:

1. Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone# and e-mail). If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status.

2. Explanation of the company's ability to perform 100% of the efforts required. This statement shall not reiterate or duplicate the language set forth in this notice or language from the attached DRAFT PWS. Your CAPABILITIES STATEMENT shall demonstrate your company's ability to perform these critical tasks in their entirety.

Background
This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the purpose of conducting market research to provide services for locker repair. The goal is to seek qualified sources capable of fulfilling the requirements outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The government encourages responses from all qualified sources, including both large and small companies experienced in these repairs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for removing and replacing the see-through cover on an expandable/retractable paint booth that services ship propeller shafts, as well as replacing all filters. The paint booth is currently non-operational due to the deterioration of its outer cover and filters. Specific tasks include:

1) Providing knowledgeable labor and approved supplies for the removal and replacement of the cover;

2) Removing and replacing any blast pre-filters or blast filters;

3) Providing lift equipment to access the top and sides of the booth;

4) Ensuring that the booth is returned in an operable and certified status;

5) Ensuring that the booth expands and retracts without issues. The contractor must also service the fire suppression system if it requires breakdown during cover replacement.
