Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice (SSN) to identify contractors capable of performing demolition work on obsolete structures at Valley Forge National Historical Park in Pennsylvania. The goal of the contract is to safely demolish structures that pose health and safety risks, thereby enhancing the park's environment and visitor experience.

Work Details
The work includes hazardous material abatement, removal and disposal of obsolete structures, appurtenances, and site features. Specific tasks involve:

1) Demolition of Whittle House and Garage, Loughin House and Garage, Midgley House, and Waggonseller Office;

2) Utility service disconnections;

3) Removal of driveways and other surfacing;

4) Site restoration including native seeding and tree plantings.

The project aims to eliminate potential nuisances associated with the demolished structures while restoring the site to a natural state.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days, which includes allowances for potential weather-related shutdowns.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Valley Forge National Historical Park, Pennsylvania.
