Description

Perform Operation & Maintenance with Repair and Minor Construction, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts in Support of Defense Health Agency (DHA), California Region

The intent of the O&M with Repair and Minor Construction contracts are to provide quick response for performing O&M, repair and minor construction relating, but not limited, to the architectural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, security and safety areas of military healthcare and research laboratory facilities in a cost-effective manner. This is a Sought Sought Notice (SSN) for the purpose of market research only. No award will result from this SSN. There is no solicitation available at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements. It is the contractor's responsiblity to monitor the Government Point of Entry (GPE) for the release of any solicitation. **Please review and respond based on the information provided in the SSN attachment.

Background
The solicitation is a Sources Sought Notice for O&M with Repair and Minor Construction contracts in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) California Region. The purpose of the contract is to provide quick response for performing O&M, repair, and minor construction relating to military healthcare and research laboratory facilities in a cost-effective manner. This is for market research only, and no award will result from this notice. The intent of the contract is to perform plant operations, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and repair of real property installed equipment (RPIE), facilities, and supporting facilities in a continuous and satisfactory manner on a 24-hour basis, 7 days per week.

Work Details
The work will vary from site to site and will require extensive knowledge of the functional operation of medical facilities, including equipment, facility support systems, and building structures. The contractor shall be dedicated to full-time operations and maintenance of the facilities, providing supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to operate and maintain the facilities systems and utilities infrastructure. Services include but are not limited to general and specialized Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems; electrical lighting systems; fire detection, annunciation, notification and suppression systems; security cameras; plumbing supply; medical gas supply; facility interior and exterior finishes; wayfinding signage; support nutritional medicine equipment; Regulatory Compliance items.
Work may range from reconfiguration of a single room or repair of a single utility system component to renovation of a hospital wing including both repair of failed/failing systems/components and minor construction of new systems/components.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is a five-year ordering period.

The places of performance for the subject requirement include the entire state of California.
