Background
The solicitation is a Sources Sought Notice for O&M with Repair and Minor Construction contracts in support of Defense Health Agency (DHA), East of the Mississippi Region. The purpose of the notice is for market research only, and no award will result from this notice. The contract aims to provide quick response for performing O&M, repair, and minor construction relating to military healthcare and research laboratory facilities in a cost-effective manner.

Work Details
The contract performance work statement includes full-time operations and maintenance of facilities, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to operate and maintain facility systems and utilities infrastructure. It also involves recurring scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Preventive Maintenance (PdM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), Service Orders (SOs), Unscheduled Maintenance, Emergency maintenance of all facility systems and components, and minor construction incidental to the O&M mission. The work will require extensive knowledge of the functional operation relating to the efficient use of the facility, equipment, facility support systems, and building structures.
The contractor will be required to minimize interference with the daily operation of medical treatment facilities and implement infection control processes. The places of performance include states in the East of the Mississippi Region as well as Washington D.C., Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and the Caribbean.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is a five-year ordering period.
