Sources Sought Notice- Massachusetts- Devens RFTA Washer/ Dryer Replacement

Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is conducting market research on behalf of Devens RFTA, MA, to identify capable sources to supply, install, and dispose of commercial laundry equipment. The goal of the contract is to replace outdated and inoperable washers and dryers at Fort Devens, MA, which currently pose sanitation and hygiene challenges for soldiers.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the supply, installation, and disposal of commercial-grade heavy-duty washers and dryers. The specific requirements include:
- Delivery of 42 Top Load Washers
- Delivery of 42 Sanitizing Electric Dryers
- Delivery of 42 Washer Fill Hoses
- Delivery of 42 Dryer Power Cords
- Shipping and Handling (1 unit)
- Installation and Removal (1 unit)

All equipment must feature metal tubs/drums, metal gears, belt-driven transmissions, hoses, plugs, and access control head ends. The installation will occur across 11 laundry rooms at Devens RFTA, MA. The contractor must ensure that all installed components are fully functional and operational as per the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

Period of Performance
The period of performance will commence from the contract award date until delivery is received, not to exceed 120 days from acceptance of the contract.

Place of Performance
Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (RFTA), MA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a brief capability statement including company name, point of contact, business size and socio-economic status. Bidders must confirm their ability to supply the units and perform on-site installation and removal/disposal services.
