Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is conducting a Sources Sought notice for the acquisition of liquid oxygen to support the installation of a reservoir oxygen diffuser system at Wolf Creek Dam in Jamestown, Kentucky.

This initiative aims to mitigate downstream dissolved oxygen concerns and is part of a broader effort involving the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Brasfield and Gorrie. The notice serves as a market research tool to identify potential qualified contractors, including small businesses, for future procurement decisions.

Work Details
The contract will involve supplying a temporary cryogenic storage container and liquid oxygen necessary for the installation and testing of diffuser lines in Lake Cumberland reservoir. Key requirements include:
- Delivery and refill of liquid oxygen as needed throughout construction completion.
- An initial delivery of all required equipment within 30 days from Notice to Deliver.
- A temporary cryogenic storage container capable of holding 9,000 gallons of liquid oxygen.
- A maximum flow rate of 1,000 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm), with lower flow rates outside construction hours (12 hours per day, 5 days per week).
- Operating pressure at the temporary manifold set at 160 pounds per square inch gauge (psig).
- The manifold connections will consist of three diffuser lines and one buoyancy line.
