Background
The U.S. Department of State has issued a Sources Sought Notice for information and planning purposes as part of market research. The notice aims to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses, with a special interest in small businesses, women-owned small businesses, HubZone, 8(a), and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses under NAICS code 236220. The notice is specifically for the design and construction of a New Embassy Compound in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

Work Details
The project scope includes complete design and construction services for the site/compound development, New Office Building (NOB), Main Compound Access Control (MCAC), Consular Compound Access Control (CCAC), Service Compound Access Control (SCAC), Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR), Support Annex/Warehouse (SPX/WHE), Utility Building, and Pool and Cabana. The estimated construction cost is approximately $315,000,000 - $325,000,000 with a firm-fixed price contract type. Responses must be limited to ten pages and include company information, business size and socioeconomic type, experience and capability to complete similar contracts, and bonding capability.

Place of Performance
The New Embassy Compound will be located at 137 Long Circular Road, at the intersection of Saddle Road, on 4.5 hectares (11.1 acres) in Maraval, Trinidad & Tobago.
