Sources Sought Notice for Janitorial Services at USCG TRACEN Cape May NJ

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services aimed at maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for residents, military and civilian personnel, and the general public.

The primary mission of TRACEN Cape May is to prepare recruits for successful careers in the Coast Guard while enhancing the quality of life and readiness of those who serve.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary services, materials, supplies, supervision, labor, and equipment to perform janitorial services at various facilities including the Child Development Center, Administration Building, Commanding Officer’s Office, Medical and Dental building, Ida Lewis Auditorium, Dempsey Hall, Munro Hall, Goff Hall, Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH), Chapel, Harbor View, and Gymnasium.

Key tasks include: applying janitorial services to common spaces such as passageways, restrooms, foyers, lobbies, vestibules, stairs, stairwells, lounge areas; ensuring floors are swept clean and professionally cleaned; maintaining sanitary conditions in restrooms; cleaning utility rooms; performing specific cleaning tasks in classrooms; managing waste disposal; and adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

The contractor must also comply with applicable federal and state laws regarding safety and environmental protection.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May in New Jersey.
