Sources Sought Notice for a Rapid Acquisition Mid-Infrared Camera System   2

Background
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Rapid Acquisition Mid-Infrared Camera System. This initiative is part of the CHIPS Metrology Program, which focuses on improving semiconductor manufacturing processes through advanced measurement science. The program aims to address gaps in the semiconductor supply chain and enhance the understanding of plasma etching processes critical for chip manufacturing.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver one (1) Rapid Acquisition Mid-Infrared Camera System, which includes:
- FAST M3K (IR-FAST_IR-3K) Calibration for Spectrometer (IRC-CUST4)
- Image Acquisition Card (IRC-FG1)
- Cameralink Cable (IRC-CL-5m-Full)
- SDK Kit for MD (IRC-SDK)

All items are to be delivered under FOB Destination terms with a one-year warranty. The camera system must meet the following minimum requirements:

**Rapid Acquisition Mid-Infrared Camera Specifications:**
- Sensor Type: InSb
- Sensor Size: 320 pixels by 256 pixels
- Sensor Pixel Pitch: ≤35 microns
- Minimum Exposure Time: ≤1 microsecond
- Maximum Full Frame Rate: ≥3000 Hz
- Maximum Sub-window Frame Rate: ≥100,000 Hz
- Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD): ≤30 mK
- Standard Temperature Calibration for use without imaging lens
- Minimum Internal Memory: 16 gigabytes
- Well Depth: ≥3 megaelectrons (Me-)

**Camera Link Image Acquisition Card Specifications:**
- Frame Grabber compatible with Camera Link acquisition card with PCIe interface.
- Cable Length: ≥5 m.

**Software Development Kit Specifications:**
- Compatible with MATLAB 2024 or newer.
- Enables basic operation of camera functions.
