The U.S. Air Force 460th Contracting Squadron at Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB), CO is posting this Sources Sought to seek potential vendors for a Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) with a minimum of one instructor and one MAFT operator to train 42 Buckley SFB firefighters semi-annually in aircraft live fire scenarios.

The Intention of this Sources Sought is to obtain responses for Market Research purposes from Capable and Interested Contractors.

Background
The U.S. Air Force 460th Contracting Squadron at Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB), Colorado, is seeking potential vendors for a Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) to train 42 firefighters semi-annually in aircraft live fire scenarios.

This Sources Sought notice is intended for market research purposes to identify capable and interested contractors.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) with at least one instructor and one operator. The MAFT must include:
- Six (6) LPG remote-controlled fires: cockpit fire, engine intake fire, wing fuel tank fire, nose landing gear fire, afterburner fire, and main wheel/brake fire.
- Delivery and setup of the MAFT on Buckley’s training pad, ensuring proper operation before training begins.
- Training will consist of two (2) aircraft live fire training exercises per year, including five (5) two-hour classroom sessions and five (5) practical hands-on training evolutions semi-annually.

The training must comply with NFPA 405 standards and federal guidelines.
