Sources Sought - Laundry & Dry-Cleaning Services - Fairchild AFB, WA   2

Background
The U.S. Air Force, specifically the 92d Contracting Squadron at Fairchild AFB, WA, is seeking to identify authorized businesses capable of providing laundry and dry-cleaning services for multiple locations on and near Fairchild AFB.

The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as commercial standards, as outlined in the attached Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). This sources sought notice is intended for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide laundry and dry-cleaning services that include the following tasks:
1. **Laundered Items**: All items must be cleaned according to required commercial standards. Items needing packaging in bundles must be bundled using commercial laundry packaging film in specified quantities. Some items are required to be on hangers. Standard turnaround time is 48 hours, although specific items may have different turnaround times as indicated in Appendix A.

2. **Dry Cleaning**: Dry cleaned items shall be packaged appropriately based on customer needs, with a standard turnaround time of 48 hours.

3. **Pick-up**: The contractor will pick up items from designated locations at specified times (Appendix B). Bins must be provided for transferring linen items. Items will be counted by Government personnel at pickup locations and verified by the contractor.

4. **Delivery**: Serviced items must be delivered to designated facilities at scheduled times, with bins provided for transfer. Delivery tickets must reflect item counts.

5. **Repairs**: The contractor will repair serviceable items using matching materials and colors. Common repairs such as replacing buttons or repairing zippers are included at no additional cost. Unserviceable items must be returned marked accordingly.

6. **Rework**: Items returned for re-performance must be cleaned again at no extra charge.

7. **Losses**: The contractor will compensate for lost or damaged items while in their possession.

8. **Hazardous Waste**: Items containing hazardous materials must be processed according to regulations.
