Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is conducting a market survey to assess the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, including 8(a) qualified, small disadvantaged, women-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and Historically Underutilized Business Zone small businesses.

This initiative aims to gather information for planning purposes regarding an upcoming requirement for Control Center Operations Support at SSA Headquarters Complex, which has a Facility Security Level IV designation. The complex is located in Woodlawn, Maryland, and is not open to the public.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide control center operations services responsible for monitoring various security systems for SSA operations nationwide. Specific tasks include:
- Ensuring government property and personnel are safeguarded;
- Performing notifications to responding parties based on incident type;
- Monitoring security systems for abnormalities or vulnerabilities;
- Responding appropriately to safeguard agency facilities and assets;
- Recording security system operational status;
- Capturing responses performed on government logs and other required forms.
