Background
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, including the Small Business Community. The agency aims to ensure adequate competition among potential contractors and encourages participation from small businesses, including those classified as Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and EDWOSB.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of one (1) High-resolution Continuously Tunable Laser (CTL) system with the following minimum specifications:
- Mode-hop-free tuning across the 1010-1100 nanometer (nm) range
- <10 picometer (pm) relative wavelength accuracy and <110 pm absolute accuracy
- Ultra-narrow linewidth (<10 kilohertz (kHz) in five (5) microseconds (µs))
- Fine tuning resolution via < one (1) pm motor step size and <10 kHz piezo step
- Large piezo scan range (45 gigahertz (GHz))
- Integrated >45 decibel (dB) optical isolator
- Output power >10 milliwatts (mW) over full tuning range
- Exclusive FiberDock for robust and precise fiber coupling
- Real-time automated optimization via SMILE and FLOW algorithms
- PowerLock functionality for stable output during full scans
- Touchscreen Graphical User Interface (GUI) with PC network control, Python SDK, and LabVIEW integration
