Background
The Fargo National Cemetery is seeking to gather market information regarding potential contractors capable of providing grounds maintenance and burial operations services. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: transporting urns and floral arrangements, completing chain of custody documents, placing urns into columbarium, conducting casket interments, removing sod and excavating gravesites, mowing and trimming turfgrass areas, applying fertilizers and herbicides, trash and debris removal, pressure washing facilities, maintaining headstones, snow removal, insect/pest control, and supporting special events such as Memorial Day and Veterans' Day.

Specific tasks include:
1. Transporting urns and floral arrangements;
2. Transporting caskets from the committal shelter;
3. Excavating gravesites for caskets and urns;
4. Mowing all turfgrass areas;
5. Applying fertilizers and herbicides;
6. Removing trash from cemetery grounds;
7. Cleaning committal shelters and columbaria;
8. Maintaining headstones including cleaning and alignment;
9. Providing support services for special events;
