Sources Sought Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS)

Background
The 638th Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG) is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide logistic support requirements.

The acquisition strategy involves a three-year Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) contract, which includes a basic year and two one-year option periods. This effort is designated as an 8(a) set aside.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing logistics support through various roles, including:
1. Logistics Manager Specialist Support: Three Contract Manpower Equivalents (CMEs) are required to perform all facets of logistics management principles and practices within the 638 SCMG. Responsibilities include requirements definition, performance assessment, risk assessment, configuration management, and technology transfer.

2. Air Force Production Management Specialist Support: Five CMEs are needed to assist Government Supply Planners with tasks related to organic and contract repair, including managing asset shipments and workload management.

3. Air Force Supply Planner Support: Seven CMEs will assist in supply planning tasks such as requirements determination, budget control system maintenance, and assisting with discrepancies in procurement processes. The contractor must ensure compliance with all security regulations and maintain records of telework if applicable.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract will extend over a three-year period, consisting of one 12-month basic period and two one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), Georgia. Contractor staff shall be co-located with the 638th Group personnel to facilitate efficient communication and teamwork.
