** In accordance with the New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY), contractor must be a Private Carting Awardee of the Brooklyn West or Citywide zone.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the provision of Solid Waste Removal and Disposal Services at MDC Brooklyn , located in Brooklyn, NY, prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Field Acquisition Office (FAO), intends to award an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The award will be based on price and past performance. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year with four, 12-month option years, at the unilateral discretion of the Government, with an optional six-month extension period.

All contractors doing business with the Federal Government are advised that this future solicitation includes the provision at FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM). This provision requires all contractors doing business with the federal government to be registered in the SAM database for All Awards . Quoters shall include their Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI) number in their quotes. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees UEI number into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in provision may result in elimination from consideration for award.
