Background
The U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Daegu is seeking contractors to provide solid waste management services for the Camp Henry, George, and Walker Daegu areas. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective waste management in compliance with local regulations and standards, particularly under the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA).

This acquisition aims to support the mission of USAG Daegu by maintaining a clean and safe environment for military personnel and their families.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste generated by USAG Daegu facilities.
2. Compliance with all applicable ROK laws regarding waste management, including labor, taxation, and immigration regulations.
3. Provision of necessary equipment and personnel to perform waste management services efficiently.
4. Submission of quotes in Korean Won only; quotes in other currencies will not be considered.
5. Verification of requisite business licenses from the ROK Government must be included in initial quotes.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be determined upon the availability of funds and may extend over multiple years as specified in the solicitation.
