Background
The contract is issued by the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington. The agency's mission includes providing essential services to support military operations.

This specific contract focuses on providing full-service maintenance and repair services for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) at JBLM, which has been designated as a Mission Essential Function. The goal of the contract is to ensure the continuous and safe operation of various types of VTE equipment, including elevators, dumbwaiters, material lifts, and chairlifts.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform full-service maintenance and repair services on VTE at JBLM. The work includes:
- Monthly maintenance on elevators, dumbwaiters, material lifts, and chairlifts at JBLM locations: Lewis-North, Lewis-Main, and McChord Field in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) paragraph 5.4.
- Over and Above work and materials as needed for tasks within the scope of PWS paragraph 5.3. This includes providing burdened hourly rates for various positions such as Probationary Apprentice Elevator Constructor and Journeyman Elevator Constructor Mechanic.
- All work must be performed in compliance with applicable safety standards to ensure operational integrity.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base period of 12 months starting from November 1, 2024, with options for four additional 12-month periods extending through October 31, 2028.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), specifically at locations including Lewis-North, Lewis-Main, and McChord Field.
