SOLICITATION- US ARMY West Point Moving, Relocation of Archives Special Collections   3

Background
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Installation Contracting Office, West Point, NY (MICC-West Point) is issuing this DRAFT SOLICITATION for the service to crate, pack, and relocate items from the West Point Library.

The goal of this contract is to facilitate the relocation of special collections from Bartlett Hall, ensuring that all items are handled with care and transported efficiently.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Develop and communicate a detailed move plan at least 5 days prior to the move, considering building conditions and requirements for crew size, supplies, and elevator usage.
2. Inspect all buildings before the move to assess protection of walls, floors, and finishes; remedy any deficiencies before proceeding.
3. Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to adhere to move schedules.
4. Attend project completion meetings as required, with approximately one meeting needed to close out the contractor's part of the project.
5. Provide all necessary materials including boxes, tape, and labels for packing.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified timeframe starting from the issuance of the solicitation on or about July 13, 2026, until project completion.

Place of Performance
West Point Library and associated facilities at West Point, NY.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be small businesses registered as GSA Contract Holders. They must also comply with alien employment regulations by not employing any aliens without valid US immigration documentation.

Additionally, bidders should provide valid social security numbers and citizenship status of all employees upon request.
