Work Details
The contract requires the contractor to provide integrated pest management (IPM) pest control services at the Veterans Affairs Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS). The services include routine bi-monthly, emergency and non-emergency pest control services for various locations. The contractor is responsible for developing and implementing an IPM plan for building interiors and perimeter grounds of the Portland VA Medical Center, Vancouver VA facility, and associated Community-based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).

The IPM program aims to achieve long-term, environmentally sound pest suppression using various technological and management practices. The contractor is also responsible for surveillance, trapping, treatment, approved pesticide application, and pest removal components of the IPM program. Additionally, the contractor must provide detailed, site-specific recommendations for structural and procedural modifications to aid in pest prevention.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes a base year from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, with four option years extending from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed include the Portland VA Medical Center Campus, Vancouver VA Campus, The Dalles CBOC (Loren R. Kaufman VA Clinic), and 11 CBOC locations.
