Background
The U.S. Embassy in the Sultanate of Oman is seeking proposals for customized Group Life and Health Insurance services for its employees. The Embassy's mission includes ensuring the well-being of its staff through comprehensive health coverage, reflecting local compensation practices.

This solicitation aims to establish a contract that meets these needs effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Health Insurance services to employees of the U.S. Government in Oman, covering various aspects such as hospitalization, emergency services, outpatient services, and pediatric care. Specific tasks include:
1. Hospitalization: Coverage for inpatient care including services from licensed healthcare providers, bed & board, operating room, recovery room, intensive care, and necessary medications.
2. Emergency Services: Coverage for conditions requiring immediate treatment to prevent serious disability or death.
3. Ambulance Services: Professional ground transport for patients needing hospital treatment.
4. Outpatient Services: Coverage for medical services provided on an outpatient basis including annual physicals, specialist consultations, minor surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
5. Obstetric and Newborn Care: Comprehensive coverage during pregnancy and post-delivery.
6. Pediatric Services: Health services specifically tailored for children.
7. The contractor must ensure that health care does not exclude HIV/AIDS care unless authorized otherwise.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on September 1, 2026, and continue through August 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the U.S. Embassy located in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
