Amendment 0001 - The purpose of Solicitation Amendment 0001 is to extend the Request for Proposal (RFP) submission date/time from 05 OCT 2023 at 12:00PM EST to 31 OCT 2023 at 12:00PM EST. Except as provided herein, all other terms and conditions related to this Solicitation remain unchanged.

Notice for Solicitation W56HZV-23-R-0004

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a contract to DRS Network & Imaging Systems, LLC (DRS-NIS) of Melbourne, Florida, Cage Code: 32865, on a sole source basis for five years under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, and 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Suppliers or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements . Services to be acquired include System Technical Support Services (STS), System Sustainment Technical Support Services (SSTS), Post Production Software Support (PPSS) services, and contractor level repair for the Direct Support Electrical System Test Set (DSESTS), Embedded Diagnostics (ED), Software Loader/Verifier (SL/V), Combined Application Platform (CAP) and Power and Diagnostics.

No other firm except DRS-NIS can meet the Army's needs and no other source possesses the technical data and documentation needed to fully support the Army's needs without incurring substantial duplication of costs not expected to be recovered through competition. The Technical Data Package is source controlled by DRS-NIS and is non-competitive. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation.

However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government.

The release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is 05 SEP 2023. The proposal is due 05 OCT 2023 at 12:00pm EST. Contract award is targeted for November 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
