SOLICITATION: Lock 19 Roof Replacement and Masonry Repair   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor for the Lock 19 Roof Replacement and Masonry Repair project located at 525 N Water Street, Keokuk, IA 52632. The mission of this project is to maintain and restore the roofing systems and exterior masonry of three buildings at Lock 19, ensuring the watertight integrity of the building envelopes while adhering to the Secretary of Interior Standards for Rehabilitation for Historic Structures.

Work Details
The contractor will perform roofing maintenance and exterior masonry restoration tasks, which include: replacing existing ballasted roofs with EPDM roofing on the Upper Land Wall Switch Board and Upper River Wall Switch Board Buildings, as well as the adjacent Scooter Shed. The Office Building is included as an optional bid. Additional work involves replacing existing gutters, scuppers, downspouts, and splash blocks on these buildings.

Masonry restoration services will include replacing exterior brick masonry parapets, spalled bricks, and stone coping caps as detailed in the attached drawings. All replacement elements must match existing building features in color, texture, and profile.

Period of Performance
The base bid contract work shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP), with a potential 30-day extension if Option A is awarded.
