Solicitation is Restricted to the Region 5 FERM ZONE 3 BPA Holders

Background
The solicitation is issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the repair of Dinkey Lakes Road, which was affected by atmospheric river events in 2023. The goal of this contract is to restore approximately 56 miles of National Forest Roads to ensure their integrity and functionality, particularly focusing on grading and drainage restoration.

Work Details
The project includes the following tasks:
- Mobilization
- Removal and disposal of structures and obstructions
- Furnishing and placement of embankment material
- Installation of Class 2 riprap
- Installation of Caltrans type 2 base rock
- Full depth reclamation of road surfaces
- Skin patching with hot mix asphalt
- Installation of corrugated metal pipes
- Replacement of ranch gates
- Temporary traffic control setup
- Restoring drainage functions with aggregate and native surface materials
- Cutting roadway vegetation.
All work must comply with contract requirements within a specified timeframe.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from March 1, 2026 to July 2, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Sierra National Forest located at 1600 Tollhouse Rd, Clovis CA 93611-0532.
