Current Requirement

The US Air Force, 48th Contracting Squadron, Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom (UK) anticipates to solicit (i.e. tender) in the near future for custodial/janitorial contractor support services. The services will be performed at various facilities located throughout the UK, at locations specified by the attached Draft PWS that include, RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell, RAF Alconbury, RAF Molesworth, RAF Croughton, RAF Fairford and RAF Welford. The associated square footage of facilities, cleaning frequencies, and associated levels of services are outlined by the attached DRAFT -copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall provide all management, tools, materials, supervision, supplies, equipment, transportation and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed in accordance with the requirements contained in the attached DRAFT PWS, in maintaining satisfactory facility conditions that present a sanitary, clean, neat and professional appearance, and are in accordance with the minimum cleaning frequencies are established in Appendix A, AF Common Output Level Standards.

The resultant award from the anticipated solicitation/tender subject to this sources sought will continue to fulfill UK wing wide custodial/janitorial services from 01 October 2021 through 30 September 2029; constituting a 60-month base plus three option years with a possible six (6) month extension.

The anticipated forthcoming solicitation will require companies who wish to tender to propose prices as Firm-fixed-Priced ; whereby such proposed pricing will not be subject to adjustment, revision, and/or negotiation during the US Government's evaluation process leading to a subsequent contract award decision.

Historical Data

The current contract fulfilling the aforementioned custodial/janitorial services was awarded under US Air Force, 48 Contracting Squadron, RAF Lakenheath contract FA5587-16-D-0001 to Blackstone Consulting Ltd with an effective date of 16 August 2016, for a base year plus four (4) option years with a possible six (6) month performance period extension; expiring as soon as 30 September 2021.
