Solicitation for Task Force Safety Assessments of Fire and Electricity/Unified Facilities Criteria within USA Central Command Area of Responsibility   5

Background
The U.S. Army, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC) is planning an acquisition for the procurement of Task Force Safety Assessments of Fire and Electricity/Unified Facilities Criteria (TF SAFE) services. The goal of this contract is to provide technical services including inspections, assessments, repairs, testing, reports, and training for facilities and operations-related projects within the U.S. Army Central Command (USCENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). The USCENTCOM mission is set by the U.S. Army Central (USARCENT).

Work Details
The contractor will perform a variety of tasks including:
- Inspecting electrical systems and addressing life, health, and safety (LHS) hazards in compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC).
- Providing logistical support for Government Property/Contractor Acquired Property management throughout the CENTCOM AOR.
- Conducting facility evaluations to assess safety and habitability.
- Supplying necessary management, supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and administrative materials for all services provided.

Specific tasks include:
1. Phase-In and Mobilization: Transition plan implementation within 60 days post-award; personnel mobilization; completion of a contract Work Plan; accountability audit of Government property; mobilization of materials.
2. Electrical Assessment, Inspection, Repairs: Conducting electrical safety inspections; immediate corrective actions for LHS hazards; creating inspection reports; managing inventory and distribution of materials.
3. Facility Inspection: Fielding UFC Inspection Teams to evaluate facilities against UFC standards; providing feedback on deficiencies.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period that includes a base period of 12 months with options for additional periods as specified in the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted within the USCENTCOM AOR which includes countries such as Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, and others.
