Amendment 03 of the SIR is attached to this announcement to extend the offer due date.

The offer due date is hereby extended to 12/05/2023 at 1600 (Central). See SIR Amendment 03 in List of attachments to this announcment. No other changes have been made to the SIR or requirement at this time.

The reason for this extension is to allow the FAA time to investigate an internal concern with the current requirement.

The current site-preparation requirement remains unchanged and valid at this time; however, interested offerors are advised to regularly monitor this announcement for updates through the end of the solicitation period.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is soliciting bids for the site preparation of a Remote Video Surveillance System Upgrade (RVSS-U) near Falfurrias, TX as detailed in the attached SIR and attachments to this announcement.

The FAA intends to award one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract to the lowest price offeror otherwise eligible for award. The performance time is 60 calendar days after contract award and Notice To Proceed (NTP) after required pre-work activities defined in the attachments to this message. The estimated value of this construction project is $150,000.00 to $350,000.00.

This competitive award process is a 100% Set-Aside to vendors who represent as Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB). Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and represent themselves as SDB in their representation and certification at 52.219-1 to be eligible for award. Further award eligibility requirements are contained in the terms and conditions of the SIR.

All documents attached to this announcement are considered by the FAA to be in final format at this time.

A pre-award site visit opportunity is being offered to interested vendors. Requests for future site visits may or may not be facilitated due to availability of FAA resources. Any future site visit opportunities will be posted to this announcement but should not expect this to occur. If interested, attendance is highly recommended See 3.2.2.3-63 in section L of SIR.
