Background
The Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB) has a requirement for a design-build project aimed at repairing Hangar 211. The project focuses on addressing structural and fire protection system deficiencies using original design documentation. The goal is to ensure the safety and functionality of Hangar 211, which is critical for the operations of the Air Force.

Work Details
The scope of work includes conducting a hazardous material inspection for asbestos-containing material (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP). The design work involves several stages:

1. Pre-design conference to discuss objectives and gather requirements from users. Detailed site inspections will assess structural repairs, roof repairs, automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and MNS.

2. **35% Design:** Prepare drawings including site plans, demolition plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, finish schedules, electrical plans, fire alarm details, and mechanical plans. Specifications will outline all areas of work. A Fire Protection Engineer will provide fire protection design analysis per UFC 3-600-01.

3. **65% Design:** Progress from 35% to 65% design stage with updated drawings and specifications.

4. **95% Design:** Further progress to 95% design stage with comprehensive drawings and specifications.

5. **Final 100% Design:** Incorporate comments from the 95% review into the final design documents.

Technical criteria must comply with various UFC standards related to building codes, architecture, roofing, civil engineering, fire protection engineering for facilities, aircraft maintenance hangars, and mass notification systems.

The construction projects will be performed at Mountain Home Air Force Base.
