Sole Source to Innovative Professional Solutions for MK12 and MK14 Minesweeping Cutters Refurbishment

Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) is issuing a sole source justification for the refurbishment of MK12 and MK14 Minesweeping Cutters. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness of minesweeping systems deployed on MCM One Class Ships by addressing wear, fit, and missing items in the cutters.

Work Details
The contractor, Innovative Professional Solutions Incorporated, will provide mechanical minesweeping system installation and testing support. The specific tasks include:
- refurbishing minesweeping cutters for the SLQ-37 minesweeping cable systems;
- addressing wear issues;
- resolving fit issues;
- replacing missing items;
- ensuring that all services meet the Navy's minimum needs as verified by technical personnel.

This procurement is justified as a sole source due to IPS's unique qualifications and proprietary knowledge in refurbishing these specific cutters, which they developed and own.

Period of Performance
All services will be completed no later than 30 September 2025.
