Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for procurement and test, teardown and evaluation of HD-SWIR cameras (P/N: 8000-0975) for the repair and sustainment of several sensor system variants within the Raytheon MTS family of systems.

NSWC Crane Division intends to award a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract modification to Sensors Unlimited, Inc. in Princeton, NJ. This effort will be conducted on a Sole Source basis in accordance with the statute of authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. The basis for restricting competition is the lack of sufficient technical data, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

It has been determined that Sensors Unlimited, Inc. is the only source capable of meeting this requirement.
