Description

Sole source justification (SSJ) for vehicle repair. The SSJ is attached.

Background
The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Procurement Division, is proposing to enter a contract on behalf of the Uniformed Division. The contract aims to repair a Platoon Support Vehicle used by the Civil Disturbance Unit (CDU) for command and control during 1st amendment gatherings and crowd management tasks.

Patriot Fire LLC, located at 215 Pullman Crossing, PO Box 69, Grasonville, MD, 21638, is identified as the only authorized body shop within a 50-mile radius equipped to perform the necessary repairs.

The procurement seeks to repair damage sustained by the Platoon Support Vehicle, specifically to the left side and left wheel well area due to an accident. The required repairs include:
