SOLE SOURCE - Engineering Services and Supplies to Support AEGIS Weapon System and AN/SPY Radar Signal Processor   3

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) is responsible for procuring engineering services and supplies to support the AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) and AN/SPY Radar Signal Processor. This contract aims to enhance the capabilities and performance of these systems for the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The authority to act under this Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) expires on March 30, 2027.

Work Details
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (Lockheed Martin RMS) will provide supplies including replacement and upgraded system components for the AWS and AN/SPY radar processor. Services will include engineering support for design changes, engineering analyses, trade studies for technology refresh, developing Engineering Change Proposals, and design upgrades for obsolete components. The contracting effort will deploy warfighting capability upgrades to U.S. Navy ships, LBTS, AWS Training Facilities, as well as FMS ships.

The increase in the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) ceiling by $50.9M is necessary to meet evolving requirements defined by the AN/SPY-1 Performance to Plan Executive Steering Committee.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period that extends until March 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin RMS facilities in Moorestown, NJ, as well as various U.S. Navy locations including LBTS and AWS Training Facilities.
