Sole Source Dynalec Loudspeakers

Background
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the sole source procurement of Dynalec Loudspeakers. Dynalec Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Virginia Class submarines and is responsible for the alarm and announcing systems, including mic control stations and loudspeakers.

The existing loudspeakers used in Block I/II Virginia Class submarines are obsolete, necessitating a redesign to ensure compatibility with current military specifications. The contract aims to maintain wartime readiness by ensuring timely delivery of these critical components.

Work Details
The contractor shall manufacture and deliver the following items:

1. **Line Item 0001**: P/N: 62030-400-10 (BLK III/IV/V); Quantity: 1 Each - Build two units, one for testing (destroyed) and one for delivery.
2. **Line Item 0002**: P/N: 62030-400-20 (BLK I/II); Quantity: 1 Each - Build two units, one for testing (destroyed) and one for delivery.
3. **Line Item 0003**: P/N: 62030-400-10 (BLK III/IV/V); Quantity: 1 Each - Build two units, one for testing (destroyed) and one for delivery.
4. **Line Item 0004**: P/N: 62030-400-12; Quantity: 1 Each - Build two units, one for testing (destroyed) and one for delivery.
5. **Line Item 0005**: P/N: 62030-400-20 (BLK I/II); Quantity: 1 Each - Build two units, one for testing (destroyed) and one for delivery.
6. **Line Item 0006**: P/N: 62030-500-12; Quantity: 1 Each - Build two units, one for testing (destroyed) and one for delivery.
7. **Line Item 0007**: DATA – Contract Data Requirements List DD 1423; not separately priced - Quantity: 1 Lot.

The contractor is required to deliver associated reports under CLIN 0007 as part of the contract obligations.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to NUWCDIVNPT located in Newport, RI.
