Sole Source CMM Support

Background
The contract is issued by the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) to provide sole source support for preventative maintenance, calibration, on-site repairs, parts and materials, and relocation support for 15 Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).

The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness of these machines which are critical for supporting multiple production lines and calibration efforts.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide:
1. An On-Site Technician for daily support of the Zeiss Machines, working Monday to Friday for 8 hours each day.
2. Parts and Materials for the Zeiss Machines based on the contractor's current commercial price list, with quotations provided at the time of service requests.
3. Relocation Services for the Zeiss machines, with quantities being estimates only; invoicing will only occur for services accepted.
4. Preventative Maintenance and Calibration services scheduled quarterly and semi-annually in accordance with OEM standards, requiring coordination with CCAD at least 10 days prior to scheduled maintenance.
5. On-site repairs that must be initiated within one business day after notification of malfunction.
6. Preparation and setup for equipment relocation, including re-calibration as per OEM procedures.
7. Technical support via telephone and impromptu training sessions on basic CMM functions as needed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Corpus Christi Army Depot located at 308 Crecy St., Corpus Christi, TX.
