Software Definable/Reconfigurable Systems (SDS): Design, Development, Support, and Integration   2

Background
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Code 8100 Space Systems Development Department requires Systems Development, Support, and Integration (SDSI) for Software Definable/Reconfigurable Systems (SDS). The goal of the contract is to support SSDD technology advancements, system requirements definition, architecture development, and the transition of system and unit design to operational use.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the Statement of Work (SOW), which includes:
1. Demonstrating capability, knowledge, and approach for both Prime and Subcontractors;
2. Providing a clear understanding of the scope of work;
3. Detailing personnel qualifications and management capabilities;
4. Developing a comprehensive management plan that accommodates program changes;
5. Ensuring a smooth transition between proposed personnel and incumbent personnel;
6. Addressing technical uncertainties and assumptions in proposals;
7. Evaluating past performance and small business participation on an acceptable/unacceptable basis;
8. Proposals must include a detailed staffing plan and transition plan that outlines how tasks will be managed with minimal demands on Government personnel.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 60 months.
