Snow Removal Services at IL068, Machesney Park, IL   4

Background
The 88th Army Reserve Readiness Division (RD) was established in 2009 at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, supporting over 50,000 Soldiers across 19 states.
The goal of this contract is to provide snow removal services at the Army Reserve facility IL068 in Machesney Park, IL, ensuring safe conditions on roadways, parking lots, loading bays/docks, and sidewalks.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for snow removal services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Services include:
1. Removing snow and ice from all roadways, parking lots, loading bays/docks, and sidewalks as shown on facility maps.
2. Treating cleaned surfaces to be skid-free using contractor-furnished sand, salt or approved chemicals that comply with State and Local Department of Transportation requirements.
3. Performing multiple snow/ice removals each day as required.
4. Snow plowing operations must begin within two hours after notification from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Designated Representative (DR).
5. Maintaining clear access to fire hydrants with a minimum 5-foot diameter around them.
6. End-of-season cleanup in spring and ensuring no snow is piled in entrances to walkways.

Period of Performance
The contract will have one base period and four option periods of 12 months each with an option to extend services for up to six months.
