Snow Removal/Deicing and Grounds Maintenance Services are required at the FAA Chicago ARTCC in AURORA IL.

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Snow Removal/Deicing and Grounds Maintenance services at the FAA Chicago ARTCC in Aurora, IL. This contract is a firm-fixed price (FFP) procurement set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor must furnish all labor, insurance, supervision, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to provide grounds maintenance services at the FAA Chicago ARTCC. Tasks include: grass cutting, edging, weeding, fertilization, vegetation cutting and removal of under-brushing, tree and shrub pruning, and collection and disposal of litter and trash.

The use of herbicides may be permitted with prior approval from the Environmental System Support Manager or designated representative. All operations must comply with Executive Orders 13423 and 13514 and the FAA Green Procurement Plan (GPP), utilizing environmentally preferable products and services. The contractor must develop a quality control program to ensure compliance with the SOW requirements. Work must generally be performed during regular administrative hours unless otherwise approved. The contractor must manage all aspects of the work effort to ensure timely completion.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes one base year from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, followed by four option years each lasting 12 months.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the FAA Chicago Air Route Traffic Control Center located at 619 W. Indian Trail Road, Aurora, Illinois.
