Snow Removal and Sanding Services at Buffumville Lake and Hodges Village Dam, Charlton, MA and Oxford, MA   3

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a solicitation for snow removal and sanding services at Buffumville Lake and Hodges Village Dam, located in Charlton, MA and Oxford, MA. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe access and operational functionality during winter conditions at these project areas. This procurement is set aside for small business vendors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary equipment, materials, labor, and transportation to perform snow removal and sanding activities at the Buffumville Lake and Hodges Village Dam Project areas. Specific tasks include:

1. Snow Removal:
- Buffumville Area Shoveling (10 events)
- Hodges Village Area Plowing (10 events)
- Hodges Village Area Shoveling (10 events)

2. Sanding and Salting:
- Buffumville Area (6 events)
- Hodges Village Area (20 events)

Snow removal must occur outside of normal working hours unless otherwise directed by the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, excluding Federal Holidays. The contractor must also prepare a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan and conduct daily safety meetings.

Period of Performance
The base year period of performance will be from contract award until November 29, 2025, with two optional years extending from November 30, 2025 to November 29, 2026, and from November 30, 2026 to April 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Buffumville Lake located at 48 Old Oxford Road in Charlton, Massachusetts and at Hodges Village Dam located at 30 Howarth Road in Oxford, Massachusetts.
