Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Snow Removal and Salting Services at East Brimfield Lake, Fiskdale, MA. This contract aims to ensure safe access and operational functionality during winter conditions at the project areas, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain infrastructure and public safety.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, and transportation necessary to perform snow plowing, shoveling, salting, and snow removal services at the East Brimfield Lake project areas. Specific tasks include:

1. Snow Plowing & Shoveling for various snowfall thresholds:
- Less than 6 inches: 8 events
- 6 inches to 12 inches: 5 events
- 12 inches to 24 inches: 3 events
- Greater than 24 inches: 1 event

2. Salting (On Call) for designated areas including office lot and parking lots.

3. Snow Removal (On Call) as required by the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). The contractor must also prepare safety documentation including an Accident Prevention Plan and Activity Hazard Analysis prior to commencing work.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance shall be from contract award until April 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
East Brimfield Lake project areas located at 24 Riverview Avenue, Fiskdale, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements
This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. Key personnel must include a Level 3 Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) with relevant training and experience. Additional certifications required include First Aid/CPR certifications.
