Snow and Ice Removal Service - Northfield, NJ

Background
The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division Department of Public Works (DPW) to procure new Snow and Ice Removal Services.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean workplace free of snow and ice at the Stork USARC located at 100 Shore Road, Northfield, NJ, 08225. This requirement is part of the agency's mission to maintain operational readiness and safety during winter conditions.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary to deliver snow and ice removal services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The services include:
1. Snow removal from parking lots and entrances to bare pavement without leaving trailing windrows.
2. Ensuring visibility of parking lot curbs and exposure of catch basins.
3. Clearing all parking spaces for availability.
4. Maintaining effective quality control to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
5. Performing services only upon notification from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or Responsible Federal Official (RFOS). The contractor must begin operations within two hours of notification and maintain communication with the COR/RFOS throughout the process.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract includes a 12-month base period followed by four optional 12-month periods.

The services will be performed at Stork United States Army Reserve Center, 100 Shore Road, Northfield, NJ, 08225.
