Smokey Circle quarters 214 Floor and Roof replacement   2

Background
The contract is issued by the USDA Forest Service for the Smokey Circle quarters located in Grants, New Mexico. The mission of this project is to replace the existing roof and flooring of a single wide manufactured home that serves as seasonal quarters for Forest Service personnel. The goal is to ensure the structural integrity and livability of the facility, which has suffered from water damage and requires significant repairs.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all supervision, materials, equipment, vehicles, tools, parts, labor, transportation, and miscellaneous items necessary for:

1) Removing and replacing 1,201 square feet of Metal Pro Panel Roof with gutters and downspouts;

2) Removing and replacing 1,201 square feet of Linoleum flooring with new wood grain vinyl flooring. Upon removal of the old linoleum flooring, any damaged subflooring must be repaired or replaced along with a moisture barrier. The roofing work includes structural assessments of trusses and support prior to installation. All demolition debris must be legally disposed of off-site.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from January 5, 2026 to July 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Mt Taylor Ranger District, located at 1800 Lobo Canyon Road, Grants NM 87020-9999.
