Background
The Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS) is a federal organization charged with identifying drug traffickers, illicit narcotics, and their means of transport. They dispatch time-sensitive information to other federal agencies that interdict narcotics into the United States. The baggage scanner systems employed at JIATFS are a primary line of defense in meeting Force Protection goals as described in Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) 4-22-02.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all required labor, materials, supervision, equipment, licenses, and certifications necessary to provide a visit and removal of the two (2) AutoClear baggage scanners in buildings 291 and 1279 and replace them with new government-purchased baggage scanners. Additionally, the contractor will perform training of guard force, screening, and government security personnel. The scope includes the removal of existing two (2) baggage scanners in Bldg 291 and Bldg 1279 entrances, installation of new baggage scanners, training of guard force, screeners, and government security personnel, and functions check to ensure all systems are performing as intended.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be upon contract award, with completion no later than April 2024.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) for the performance of the contract is at JIATFS facilities in buildings 291 and 1279.
