SMC Range and Network Division (SMC/RN) - System Engineering and System Integration (SE&I) Support

ENSCO, Inc., Falls Church, Virginia, has been awarded a $145,200,000.00 (if all Options are exercised) with Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) being the principal contract type, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Price Contract (FFP) for Systems Engineering and Integration support to Space and Missile Systems Center Range and Network Division (SMC/RN), Los Angeles AFB. Work will be performed at Los Angeles, California and Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2022 (should all Options be exercised).
This award is the result of a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive acquisition with multiple offers being received.
The Contractor will support new and on-going efforts in all phases of the acquisition life cycle, and standardize systems engineering processes.
This is a Consolidated contract combining three separate programs (technical baselines); Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN), the Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS), and the Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO) under one contract to standardize system engineering processes and obtain robust integration capabilities to help bridge the gap between the sustainment, operations and acquisition communicties. As this contract is standarizing multiple and divergent programs and technical baselines, it was determined that use of a cost plus type of contract was most appropriate and in the Government's best interest to achieve success.
