Background
UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. is issuing a solicitation for various slide fasteners to be used in their cut and sew factories located in Miami, FL; Pekin, IL; Safford, AZ; Joint Base MDL, NJ; and Terre Haute, IN.

The goal of this contract is to provide Berry Amendment compliant products that are 100% domestically manufactured in the United States.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply of various slide fasteners as detailed in Section B of the solicitation. These items must comply with the Berry Amendment, meaning they must be manufactured entirely in the USA, including raw materials.

The solicitation is for a fixed-price requirements type contract with an Economic Price Adjustment based on the Producer Price Index (PPI) for Fastener, Button, Needle, and Pin Manufacturing (PPI #PCU339993339993). Quantities are estimates only and all items will be awarded to one offeror. Shipping terms are FOB Destination to all specified UNICOR locations.

The products will be delivered to the following locations: Miami Cut and Sew (15801 SW 137th Ave, Miami, FL 33177-1209), Pekin Cut and Sew (2600 S 2nd St, Pekin, IL 61554), Safford Cut and Sew (1529 Swift Trail Pkwy, Safford, AZ 85546), Fort Dix Cut and Sew (5835 Hartford Rd, Joint Base MDL, NJ 08640), Terre Haute Textile Mill (4200 Bureau Rd N, Terre Haute, IN 47802).
