Skywatch Tower Maintenance   2

Background
The solicitation is for the maintenance of Skywatch Towers at Fairchild AFB. The services shall consist of routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of the towers, including on-site visits and minor repairs/parts. The contractor is required to provide telephone and email support for technical and troubleshooting assistance. The contract will be performed during normal hours of operation, excluding federal holidays, and the contractor shall coordinate with the 92d Security Forces Squadron for base access.

Work Details
The contractor shall maintain all Skywatch Towers through conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs as required during scheduled on-site visits. This includes maintaining the tower platform, ONAN diesel generator, attached cameras, and electronic equipment. The services shall consist of all items listed on Appendix 2 – Maintenance Checklist.
Inspections and maintenance services shall be conducted three times per year in March, July, and November. The contractor shall provide and perform all minor repairs/parts in accordance with Appendix 2 – Preventative Mx Checklist.
The contractor shall prepare and submit a written report/checklist for each skywatch tower after performing the on-site inspections and preventive maintenance.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is as follows: Base Year Period of Performance: 1 Sep 2023 – 31 Aug 2024; Year 1 Period of Performance: 1 Sep 2024 – 31 Aug 2025; Year 2 Period of Performance: 1 Sep 2025 – 31 Aug 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Fairchild AFB.
