SJAFB Air Show 2023 - Air Boss

Background
The contract is for the provision of Air Boss and Ground Ops Boss services for the SJAFB Air Show 2023. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) control point is a specified location where the event organizer, or a designated representative or an 'Air Boss' manages the aviation event. The control point must have a communications system with the capability necessary to control the aviation event and invited assembly of persons.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and any other items and services necessary to provide and run an Open House Control Point with Air Boss services from 19-21 May 2023. This includes services of a Recognized Air boss for Multiple Venue.
The Air Boss shall be responsible for assessing and identifying airspace and operational safety concerns, developing corresponding safety countermeasures, developing an operational plan of aircraft movement (ground and air), being in charge of all airfield operations during normal operations, and coordinating various aspects of the air show.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from 19-21 May 2023.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB) in North Carolina.
