Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is issuing a solicitation for a fixed-priced time charter for six U.S. flagged and Jones Act compliant tugs. This contract aims to support the MSC's operational requirements in San Diego, CA, as part of their mission to provide strategic sealift and ocean transportation services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

The contractor shall provide six U.S. flagged and Jones Act compliant tugs under a fixed-priced time charter with reimbursable pass-through elements. The period of performance will be four years and eleven months, consisting of a one-year firm period, three additional one-year options, and a fourth option of three hundred thirty-five days.
