Single source contract award or extension for the continued system integration, sustainment, and enhancement of the En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) system

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA or Agency) intends to award a follow-on contract or contract extension to Leidos for the continued system integration, sustainment, and enhancement of ERAM. This award will be on a single source basis pursuant to AMS 3.2.2.4 Single Source Contracting.
On October 22, 2018, the Agency posted Market Survey No. 31715 regarding the follow-on contract to En Route Automation (ERAM) Contract DTFAWA-03-C-00015. The purpose of the survey was to solicit descriptions from respondent-industry companies on how their companies could sustain and enhance the ERAM system and to obtain information necessary to determine whether adequate competition existed to conduct an unrestricted competition. Only the incumbent responded.
Based on the results of the market survey, the Agency determined adequate competition does not exist to conduct an unrestricted competition for the continued system integration, sustainment, and enhancement of ERAM or for alternate solutions.
