Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for Freeport Harbor, Texas Entrance and Jetty Channel Hopper Dredging Brazoria County, TX   10

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District and the Southwestern Division are issuing an unrestricted Request for Proposal (RFP) for the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for hopper dredging for the Freeport Harbor, Texas entrance and jetty channel in Brazoria County, TX. The approximate maximum limitation for all task orders issued under the resulting award is $98 million. The acquisition is contingent upon appropriated funds being made available.

Work Details
The scope of the project includes all work required for the Freeport Harbor deep draft navigation project, consisting of a 46-ft deep by 600-ft wide by approximately 8.5-mile channel, extending from the Gulf of Mexico through a jettied inlet to a turning basin at the Freeport port facilities in Brazoria County, Texas. The project also includes two rock jetties, 1.46 & 1.64 miles in length.

Period of Performance
The base contract will be awarded with a 3-year ordering period.
