Background
The United States Air Force Band requires an electronic acoustics system to enhance the acoustics in the Concert Band rehearsal studio located at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC.

The current system, a defunct LARES system, will be removed as part of this project. The USAF Band has determined that an L-Acoustics Ambiance System is the only suitable option to meet their needs.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
1. Decommission and remove approximately 84 loudspeakers from the existing LARES system, including 32 loudspeakers from vertical surfaces which will require drywall patching and prep for repainting.
2. Remove all cabling and hardware associated with the existing speaker installation.
3. Collaborate with L-Acoustics designers to design and install an L-Acoustics Ambiance system tailored to the requirements outlined in this SOW.
4. Provide detailed drawings, equipment lists, wiring schematics, and timelines during the planning phase; multiple installation plans must be approved prior to installation.
5. Install all system components including racked equipment, cabling, speakers, control panels, etc., while covering all costs associated with pulling cable throughout the campus.
6. Provide onsite technical training for operating the new system along with a continuity binder and training aids for future personnel.
7. Offer a two-year onsite installation warranty and technical support service from the date of client handover.
8. Ensure protection of all fixtures including drapes, electronics, instruments from dust during construction.
